Coinbase, Product Designer (May 2022 to Jan 2023)

Launched new wallet payment features, onboarding improvements, and external partnership benefits within the Coinbase One ecosystem on the main consumer app. Spearheaded a week-long sprint to define blue-sky design visions for member engagement, personalization, and platform value. Shipped growth experiments to drive new user adoption, design system contributions, and brand positioning.

Meta Creative X, Product Designer (July 2021 to Present)

Partnered with producers, creative directors, art directors, engineers, and external agencies to define and launch Instagram’s “End of Year” experience—a feature that allowed users to reflect, customize, and curate their favorite Instagram stories from the year. Defined and presented guidelines for new Company Design System components (images, buttons, banners, etc.) in cross-team reviews.

MongoDB, Product Designer (March 2019 to July 2021)

Defined the identity access management and billing systems supporting MongoDB Cloud and Ops Manager for millions of active users. Designed new payment experiences to increase revenue growth by 30%, shipped improvements to reduce cost-related support tickets by 50%, and introduced new features to support 55k+ new user registrations per week. Spearheaded a interview series that spotlighted design team members on the marketing blog as a side initiative.

Frog Design, Interaction Design Intern (February to March 2019)

Worked as a design advisor for a financial client on an interdisciplinary team of other product designers, project managers, and brand strategists. Specified information architecture and user interfaces using participatory and iterative design techniques. Produced ecosystem diagrams, customer journey maps, wireframes, annotations, and prototypes.

Wish, Product Design Intern (August to December 2018)

Designed splash page, sign-up workflow, and the product recommendation experience for the launch of the Fulfillment By Wish program (FBW), leading to $34 mil+ in related GMV and 1.8 mil+ orders to- date. Produced illustrations, icons, and banners for merchant-facing features. Defined and built new components for the design system and platform in React as a hybrid engineer and designer.

BuzzFeed, Product Design Intern (June to August 2018)

Directed the addition of nutrition info and a new video-binging experience on Tasty platforms: led a design sprint, conducted research studies with users across the country, made data-driven stylistic decisions, and created interactive prototypes. Presented updates and provided feedback on other ongoing projects in critiques twice a week. Partnered with PMs and data scientists to formulate strategic roadmaps.

DoorDash & Kleiner Perkins Fellowship Program, Software Engineering Intern Intern (May to August 2017)

Selected as one of 57 Engineering Fellows from 2,500 applicants. Conceptualized DoorDash for Business UX as lead designer and implemented redesigns among our cross-platform application. Authored a 30-page design document explaining usability problems across the old user interface, objectives, and iterations of design solutions. Built user-facing web features in JavaScript, React.js, and Redux. Attended entrepreneurial talks and venture capital networking events with KPCB portfolio companies and leaders through participation in invite-only events.

Apple, iOS Engineering Intern (May to August 2016)

Developed an iOS application focused on anomaly detection using data processing to streamline internal bug detection among mobile devices. Presented my project to VP of Wireless Technologies.

The Goat Farm Arts Center, Design and Developer Intern (January to May 2016)

Designed user interface elements, developed screen mock-ups, and created wireframes for new, cross-platform features on “The Knowd” application using Sketch and Adobe Illustrator. Implemented front-end styling and back-end functionality from prototype designs utilizing Sass and React.js technologies on both web and mobile. Constructed a digital guide for newly onboarded users to navigate the application.

Microsoft, Explorer Intern (May to August 2015)

Designed and programmed new JavaScript features on, which yielded 25M+ daily views on the platform portal. Composed program management and engineering specifications highlighting goals, design guidelines, KPIs, flighting and telemetry decisions, and architectural overviews within the Universal Store teams.
